Supporting Your Emotional Growth and Resilience
Nancy Pace is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in mental health. She specializes in treating mood disorders, relationship issues, grief, OCD, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ concerns using evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique fit.
Her therapeutic approach is relational and exploratory, integrating techniques such as IFS, CBT, ACT and DBT with a psychoanalytic foundation. Nancy is also certified in EMDR, a more structured approach to treating trauma-related issues. Nancy emphasizes warmth, authenticity, and meaningful conversation. She believes in the importance of building a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and collaboration, as this is what creates sustainable outcomes.
Nancy has worked in community health, higher education and hospital settings. Through her work, she has committed to the approach of harnessing the power of therapy to explore the root causes of issues instead of treating symptoms with behavioral tools. This dedication to exploration leads to improved long-term outcomes and allows clients to better know themselves and tolerate future stressors.

In your first therapy sessions, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment. These sessions are focused on getting to know each other, building trust and rapport and working collaboratively to identify a treatment approach.
Weekly sessions are recommended as consistency is key to making progress. More frequent sessions may be available, depending on your needs. Our initial intake session will be 60 minutes long, then ongoing sessions will be 45 minutes each.
